Some of my parishioners have written to the Presiding Bishop, appealing to her to seek negotiated settlements and to come clean about lawsuit funding.
None of them received a reply - not even a form-letter or e-mail to say, "Thanks for your concerns." Nothing. As one remarked, "Even the President of the United States or my Senator sends some kind of reply."
Meanwhile, the Episcopal Church suffers on.
