Giving thanks for a good meeting this morning with tribal member Jack Moore. Jack is pastor of Christian Life Fellowship and the White Eagle Christian Academy on the Rosebud. He expressed joy and thanks for this additional intercessory effort.
Last year, Jack had assembled intercessory teams that "prayer walked" most of the Rosebud communities. This effort was endorsed by the Tribal Council and had some powerful results. In fact, the suicide rate actually fell for a time and only recently began to rise again. There is need for constant spiritual battle on this front, and even "secular" professionals and other leaders are seeing the spiritual dimension of the problem.
Jack will welcome us to the Rosebud for prayer, service or however the Lord might lead us. Our American Anglican Council Chapter will take this up - we will arrange a visit sometime this year.
