From a Morning Canticle

Glorify the Lord, O chill and cold, *
drops of dew and flakes of snow.

Frost and cold, ice and sleet, glorify the Lord, *
praise him and highly exalt him for ever.

I'm often amazed that there is no praise for slush and mud, or for drizzle and dripping drops of rain. I think the writers of this canticle didn't understand the Pacific Northwest.

LOL you remind me of that great Jack in the Box commercial, where Jack is standing in a forest, in rain, watching grunge-looking guys play hackeysack. Seems his ad people misunderstood and thought he asked for an add for a spicy NORTHwest chicken sandwich.
