Well, seein' as how the Northern Plains are my adopted home, I sometimes have to represent for my origins.

Received by email from the recently formed USC Alumni Club of Minneapolis/St. Paul:

I look forward to meeting more of you in the coming year, especially those of you in outstate Minnesota, the Dakotas, Iowa and Western Wisconsin! Also, remember to mark September 18, 2010 on your calendars. That is the day the Trojans come to Minneapolis to play football against the Golden Gophers. We will have events around that event and we expect the band, Song Girls and other school dignitaries to be in town.
