He won't be savoring the splendid architecture and music of a cathedral, or even the warmth of his own home.Bishop John Tarrant of South Dakota will travel around The Yankton Sioux Reservation, visiting several mission churches. He will celebrate Holy Communion twice on Christmas Eve and once on Christmas Day.
The Yankton Mission has been without a resident priest for some time. The Episcopal Church Positions Open Bulletin has information for clergy who might sense a call to serve God's people there.
