Former South Dakota Priest muses on the decline of the Episcopal Church

BE OF GOOD CHEER WE ARE IN DECLINE «

“The hungry sheep look up and are not fed.” So they graze in other fields. They are “secular” not because they have lost the capacity for faith, but because our obsessions don’t touch their lives. Fr. Tony Clavier

I didn't realize that Fr. Tony Clavier had been a priest in SD. Where and when? Just curious.

If he has, then he's no stranger to the decline of TEC, is he?

He was Rector at Trinty, Watertown into the early 2000s... not sure when he arrived here.

2001-2004. I left to take up the post as Dean of the Institute of Christian Theology, Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe.

I loved my time in SD and miss both white and Native American people there.
