The man with the message

Christmas leaves many tender and memorable images and impressions.

But it is St. John, commemorated today on the church calendar, who carries the message and meaning of the celebration:

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

I'm giving a lecture on St. John the Evangelist at the Masonic Lodge tonight. I will try to post some of my reflections on St John the Evangelist later.

Great opportunity to share the message in the public square! Will look forward to your reflections on John.
