From Senator Tim Johnson's Chief of Staff: ...as you may know, Senator Johnson suffered an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), causing him to be hospitalized and undergo neurosurgery. While we are heartened by his progress and expect him to make a full recovery, he is not yet able to return to work or personally respond to your comments...Thank you again for your thoughts and patience during this time.
