This breaking story will be hard to verify. I-90 is shut down between Sioux Falls and Albert Lea. I am taking my '89 Camry offroad, but it is slow going. Hope to make Mankato in time for Vikings training camp.
Anyway, we know that Sir Francis woulda run for it, not thrown a cross-the-body pass. Just sayin'.

I still remember when a defensive player pushed Fran after he had run out of bounds. As Fran walked back to the huddle he drilled the defensive player in the back of the head with the football from about ten yards away just below the helmet, knocking him down. The O-line circled around Fran, the penalty flag thrown but no more pushes out of bounds the rest of the game. What a stud!!
LOL yeah he had an attitude... and all that scrambling made D-linemen nuts. I grew up with the fairly hapless Rams, who at least had some good linemen, and even they went nuts chasing the guy.
