And in that same pile of breaking news, I found that back in March, The Standing Committee of the Diocese of South Dakota voted "no" on consent for the consecration of K.T. Forrester as Bishop of Northern Michigan. (Scroll down to p. 16 at the link).
Thank you to all who took part in a nation wide discussion of a controversial issue, and especially to those who signed the South Dakota letter urging denial of consent.
