Invoking the strong Name

Back on March 16, I was invited to offer the invocation for the Sioux Falls City Council meeting. I sang just one verse from a hymn traditionally attributed to St. Patrick, which is a powerful expression of devotion to the Trinity:



The whole hymn is here, and begins:

I bind unto myself today

the strong Name of the Trinity,

by invocation of the same,

the Three in One, and One in Three.
