I seem to remember in the heyday of George W. Bush that Republicans and Democrats were singing different tunes on whether the nuclear option was legitimate.
I hope folks remember that, Archer, and resist this kind of change for short term victory. It will bring all kinds of nasty unintended consequences.In these polarized times, I think the more supermajorities either side is forced to seek, the better.
