Not much more to say about the Episcopal Church

I think they are profoundly wrong on a long list of issues and approaches. But even if they are right, the leaders of the new Episcopalian religion are putting on a quite a demonstration of how to mismanage change and how to put the needs of a very few above the well being of many more, and how to put short term emotion ahead of long term health.

I might comment more on the General Convention of this new sect, or I might not. Depends on if anything different emerges from all of the foolishness and the spin that tries to mask it as something better.

A dear lady gave me a prayer card featuring a smiling Jesus. Good reminder. It was a joyful "Hail!" he offered to those who first saw him victorious over death, his earthly mission complete and his mysterious creation of the new heavens and new earth underway. The burlesque in Anaheim, CA has no power over that.

A few passages of Scripture come to mind:

Psalm 2:2-4
Why do the kings of the earth rise up in revolt,and the princes plot together,
against the LORD and against his Anointed?

"Let us break their yoke," they say;
"let us cast off their bonds from us."

He whose throne is in heaven is laughing;
the Lord has them in derision.

Habakkuk 3:17-19
Though the fig tree does not blossom,
and no fruit is on the vines;
though the produce of the olive fails
and the fields yield no food;
though the flock is cut off from the fold
and there is no herd in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord;
I will exult in the God of my salvation.
God, the Lord, is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
and makes me tread upon the heights.

(I am not in Euless, TX, contrary to what the feed on the right says! ;)

Most people would think of a piece from Handel's Messiah, but your Psalm 2 reference reminds me of this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgKDte0d_7M

Continuing to pray . . .

Perfect photo...Teo has allowed the tornado of man's works and ways to destroy the church...the Hand of God has duplicated it.

Teo has rebelled against, rejected, defiled, perverted, polluted and counterfeited every holy Ikon of God, His Fatherhood, The Son who is The Man, The Holy Spirit Man, Woman, Truth, Love, Life and The Church as Child of God, subject to God's discipline, dominion, as a holy woman, nurterer of the Children of God, as the Bride of Christ.

Teo is no longer a church but a synagogue of satan.

Sibyl - Thanks for that prophetic word. Hadn't thought about that implication when posting the tornado pic - it's just that kind of weather here right now. But God had a message in it - bless you for delivering what He says.

I simply have to remind myself over and over that the Lord is still Lord over all. His will and His plan are eternal; the powers of hell cannot and will not prevail. Those who love and serve Him will find sanctuary in the peace that surpasses all understanding. The church may crumble, but the Church will stand forever and ever. Amen.

Or perhaps the tornado signifies, "They have sown a wind and reaped a whirlwind." ;>)
